Questions before you book.
Will lightening damage my hair?
Any lightening changes the hair, and anyone who promises otherwise is not being honest with you. What we control is how much. Alfredo checks your hair before he starts, creates a formula for your hair specifically, and every highlights and balayage session ends with a repair treatment to restore strength and shine.
How long will my appointment take?
Full highlights and balayage take up to 5 hours, partial highlights about 3 hours, and a root touch up about 2 hours. Plan a relaxed afternoon with us.
Is the haircut really included?
Yes. With full highlights, partial highlights or balayage, your haircut and a post lightening repair treatment are included in the same session. Root touch up and full color include a deep conditioning treatment.
How often will I need to come back?
Root touch ups every 4 to 6 weeks, highlights every 8 to 12 weeks, balayage every 3 to 4 months. Balayage is the lowest maintenance option.
Can I go blonde in one visit?
It depends on your starting color and your hair's history. Sometimes yes. Sometimes it is healthier in two sessions, and Alfredo will tell you which one before you start.
Can you fix color done somewhere else?
Yes. Color correction starts with a consultation, so Alfredo can see what is in your hair today and tell you what is possible and how many sessions it may take. Send us a photo to get started.
Do you cover grays?
Yes. Root Touch Up and Full Color both cover grays.
How do I care for my color at home?
Wait 48 hours before your first wash, use a sulfate free shampoo, and always use heat protection. Blondes can use a purple shampoo once a week. We will recommend the right products for your hair before you leave.
How should I prepare?
Come with dry hair and bring photos of looks you love. They help Alfredo understand exactly what you have in mind.
